The Pack That Comes Together…Is Stronger!

Kola and Sprite are so glad you’re here!

Happy May Day! Spring is in the air! It’s a time of change and growth. And we’re feeling that given today marks our official launch of our Patreon Page. We weren’t sure when we were going to do this or even if we should, but when some folks elbowed us and said, “Hey, why aren’t you doing this?” We figured it was time.

Right now, even as our page numbers are small, we plan to put out some bonus footage right here frequently. We’re targeting once a week, but travel plans can sometimes inhibit that; also, episode production is priority. Kola and Sprite will tell you that long walks are also a priority — whether they be in the forest, the beach, or up a mountain.

We’d love to get to know you better, which was the number one motivator for us to create a Patreon community. Chapter Six: Falling In Love! Proteus Rising – Book One

We’re finally starting to get into a rhythm with this vlogging. Those that are following us on social media know that things are progressing on our #fiveyearplan, so that’s why there’s a bit of time between episodes. But, like we just noted, we’re getting into a rhythm and the next episode is already in production. Woohoo!

In this episode, we finally get a chance to see The Bayfield 36 we were totally geeking-out on in Chapter Five. We have a good time in Anacortes, Wash. and have great hope for our #fromlandtoseaandallaroundtheworld future. Our son has an epic football season, and starts to get acceptances to colleges and some recruiting looks as a two-sport athlete. But plans go a bit sideways with money to purchase any boat, let alone this one.

Chapter Four: Operation Distraction! Proteus Rising — Book One

You’re still coming back for more. Man, we adore you for being excited about our adventure. Or, maybe you’re just waiting for us to fall overboard. Regardless, you’re here. Thank you.

In this episode, Casz works really hard to distract Greg from his crush on the Pearson 35. We spend a lot of time in the car. Or getting beer. In between looking at lots and lots of boats. Realize we need better filming gear, but plod on through the end of good sailing season here in the Pacific Northwest, all the while searching for “The One,” who will be our live-aboard sailboat.

Best of all we realize we really dig the sailing community. Good people all around.
